Highlights creates lightness throughout the entirety of the head and around the face. This process uses foils to produce seamless, lightened hair.

Balayage creates subtle lightness throughout the entirety of the head and around the face. This process uses freehand painting technique to produce seamless, sunkissed hair.

Foilyage is similar to Balayage except for the painted pieces of hair are placed in foil for ultimate lift. This technique creates bright shades by painting pops of lightness where your hair needs it, for someone wanting a brighter balayage effect.
